A friend posted on social media that “there are now more people who have been vaccinated against Covid-19, than have been infected by the virus“. Also I hear they are looking to have a mass vaccination site at the Oakland Coliseum. I will take any good news I can get. It’s been nice seeing outdoor dining appear again in my neighborhood. I’m hopeful.
Today was supposedly our last colder day of the week as temps are supposed to be on the rise. So in the Bay Area that means, “no more 50s, get ready for 60s“. And as I type this I am watching the weather report in Chicago and they are going to experience an “artic blast” this week with a high of 5 degrees. FIVE DEGREES. And in Minnesota, they are going to be below 0! Those Midwesterners are TOUGH.
I wasn’t as tired today as I was yesterday. I got my two walks in before and after work. I even managed to take a shower and wash my hair. Hey– washing and styling this wavy curly mane is a task unto itself. All you chicas out there with bone straight hair- you have no idea. Now if you will excuse me I am going to turn on my flat iron….
