Day 332 – Perks

Today I heard on the news that the Covid surge in California is trending down, and though the new cases and hospitalizations are still high, they are nowhere near the peak from just a month ago. The vaccines seem to be working.

I went into the office today for just a few hours. I have to say that one of the perks of this pandemic is there is now plenty of parking. Oh, and there are no lines at Starbucks—- oh and it’s overall, more peaceful. That’s a big deal in the normally overcrowded Bay Area. People are leaving though….little by little. Maybe when the world opens up again, it will stay this way, now that companies have discovered a little thing called TELECOMMUTING. Why weren’t they doing this all along? Don’t make someone relocate halfway across the country to accept a job in the 21st century if they don’t have to. It’s a win/win. People want to live comfortably. Speaking of which…

Saturday Night Live just did the funniest commercial I have seen in a long time. We could all use a bit more space during these pandemic times. I’ll just leave this here:
