Today, Facebook reminded me:
Six Years Ago….
My friend Tony and I were working on a short film he wrote – “Frank’s Cakes” where we played brother and sister, and honestly….very little acting required on my part ha ha!
Tony is not only like a brother to me, but he is one of the most motivated creative people I have ever met. I want to know his secret. Although I once witnessed him guzzle down a Venti-sized iced coffee at Starbucks around 8:30 at night a few years ago, so….
But seriously, I want his sunny disposition. He believes in people, he believes the best for them. Whereas I, however, seem to take after my cynical Irish father. Yeah, yeah, I’m working on it.
This morning I got in a quick walk before the rains came. Then I hunkered down inside my cubicle at the office for most of the day and now my back kind of hurts. I do not miss the 9 to 5 lifestyle at all. May this pandemic renew us all and inspire a new way to live.
