My sister got her first vaccine shot this morning at the Oakland Coliseum. I had the day off, so she came over and we went on a hike and discovered new trails together.
I had been eyeing this park for awhile last year, but as the winter days got shorter, I had to put some adventures on hold. We took a very basic trail today, nothing too ambitious, although I slipped and fell on some acorns- ACORNS. Who knew?
Then we headed off to Montclair Village for a bite to eat out on the patio of Crogan’s. Yes, outdoor dining is BACK baby! I hope the parklets stay once Covid ends. There must be some good things to come out of this pandemic.
