Past Generations

How is it July already?

I used to blog every night during the pandemic and truth is, I miss it. Oh, sure I hadn’t much to write about, but it was really just for me, so I could look back and remember how I lived through a pandemic, since my generation has never really gone through much before. Not like my grandparents’ or great grandparents’ generation. I think I am thinking about this now because I started watching “Bridgerton” (yes, I am super late to the Bridgerton party) and now “Queen Charlotte”. I have become obsessed with past generations and what women had to endure. Um, I’m sorry- what? No flushing toilets, showers or privacy? As an actor I know it’s practically illegal that I have never been attracted to Shakespeare or even attended a Renaissance Fair. I am a modern-day wimp! I have a lot of catching up to do. These tales of the past inspire me and give me strength. And the acting is fabulous.

I may not be on a Netflix show, but I myself have some gigs coming up. I will be doing an excerpt of Born Again in Berkeley on 8/3 & 8/11 at the Marsh in San Francisco. I will be opening for another performer. GET TICKETS HERE.

Okay, back to Charlotte!
