I woke up this morning, marched down the hill, got my Starbucks iced coffee and began my daily walk.
First, I stopped by my old polling location.

It’s no longer a polling place since most of us mailed in our ballots this year. I was a little sad because I wanted to find a polling location to take pictures. I was then told that Piedmont had a polling station, and off I went, on foot of course.

Ahhhh, I feel better now.
As I type this, Biden has a slight lead over Trump, but that doesn’t mean anything. It’s just too close to call. I know some are surprised, but I am not at all. After being surprised in 2016, I was determined to pay more attention to others who shared a more conservative view point. I followed Trump on Twitter and saw all the “likes” and followers he has. I wanted to have my eyes OPEN during this election. And it’s turning out just as I thought. I am done being naive. The truth hurts, but I want to live in reality and not a fantasy, and the truth is… a lot of people still like Trump. We have to deal with it.
Not a very cheery blog I know. I wish I could go back to the beach. I did get a few sunset pics today though. Enjoy.
