Today I decided to take it easy, as I am still feeling lingering effects from this cold I’ve had for a couple of weeks. I rehearsed a few times for my upcoming show this Tuesday in Berkeley and then ran some errands, and that was it before chilling with the cat. Well, I tried to chill with the cat, but everything is on her terms.
Keesa’s Terms
On the family tree front, I decided to focus a bit more on my namesake. The Donahoes of Pennsylvania. My Grandpa Frank had two aunts who never married. Kate and Bess. According to my Grandmother, “Bess had a Civil Service job in Washington, D.C.” Ah ha! Another government employee in the family!
I don’t know anything about Bedford Pennsylvania, so I looked it up.
Bedford is a borough, spa town, and the county seat of Bedford County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.[4] It is located 102 miles (164 km) west of Harrisburg, the state capital, and 107 miles (172 km) east of Pittsburgh. Bedford’s population was 2,865 at the 2020 census.[5][6]

The Donahoes have come a long way – literally. ROAD TRIP!
